Tomorrow Carrie is headed to Saint Petersburg where we are very pleased to announce that we have begun working with Marine Express LLC!  This will be an exciting introduction into the market.

After Saint Petersburg the tour will continue through Finland in collaboration with Wendy Paillé of Domaine Le Soula and Soil Wine Group with the goal of building momentum for the Roussillon.  We are very please to become more familiar with Finland beginning the tour in Helsinki, continuing onto Turku and Tampere, and finally finishing the tour in Jyväskylä.  

After Domaine des Enfants will be headed over to Stockholm.  Together with the past February trip to Norway, we are calling this the 2019 Nordic tour.

2012 is finished!  Even though quantities were lower this year, the quality was still at a level that made us happy.  We had an excellent team this year with Davide and Pascal, and an excellent year complimented with the family addition of Bambou the baby white donkey.

This week we gave France a jump-start on vendange!  We harvested our muscat in Maury, making it the first fruit to be harvested in all of France.  2012 is going to be an excellent year!

l'enfant perdu 2010 is bottled and on the market!

Ron Scherl is an American photographer living in Maury.  Ron is dedicating a whole year of his life (maybe more) to documenting the changes happening in our region.  Not only within the wine industry, but with the people living here as well.  Ron has featured Marcel and Domaine des Enfants several times within his blog, and we would like to invite you to have a look.

Here we are in December.  Every tank has been pressed, and put into barrel.  Pruning for 2012 has already begun.  Luckily we have a little down time for family and for the holidays, and we wish everyone a very peaceful holday season.

We have offically finished picking all the fruit, the vinification on our whites is finished, and we are in the process of finishing all our reds.  We have almost TWICE the wine of last year, however we don't have twice the space...  We are working on it.

We had an excellent hardworking team this year from all different parts of the world, and they have all departed now to return home. Of course nothing would have ever been accomplished without the team.  

Also...  The wine tastes gooooooood

we have finished bottling 2010 tabula rasa, 2009 suis l'étoile, and 2009 la larme de l'âme!  We have also finished harvesting all our whites, and will be continuing next week with syrah. Time is going by incredibly fast, before we know it, we will be on holidays

Here we are in August, it's quite hot, but at least we have been having a lot of rain this season.  There are many grapes on the vines this year, and we are anticipating 2011 to be an excellent vintage.  We began our harvest last week with our muscat in maury.
